How can I play the TV sound through my A / V receiver?

The TV has a built-in TV tuner (Digital and/or analogue). Due to the better sound quality of the signal being transmitted today we recommend playing connecting the sound through the A / V receiver.

The new generation of AV receivers offer the convenient opportunity, to route the sound from the TV through the HDMI cable backwards to the AV receiver.

This feature is supported by all RIHD / ARC (Audio Return Channel) compatible devices. It is required to have this feature enabled on both the AV receiver and the TV.

Often, the ARC feature works only through HDMI jacks specially marked on the particular device (see instructions for your TV / AV receiver).
